The story:

In 2018, Tabasco celebrated its 150th anniversary with a major event in Antwerp's trendy BBQ restaurant Black Smoke, where they launched their new Diamond Reserve Sauce.


How we did it: 

During the whole year 2018 we PR-ed /celebrated Tabasco’s Bday

1. In the beginning of 2018, we invited some key food influencers and journalists to a real Bday Bash in London

2. In autumn, Tabasco decided to organise an event in Antwerp as well. 

In total we invited about 100 well-selected influencers & journalists. 


It was mainly a birthday party: 

- hip bartenders who made two different cocktails with Tabasco

- spicy snacks of all kinds

- loud party music

- a birthday cake

- the - new -Diamond Reserve Sauce


Everybody could also get to know Tabasco better during the event and got a stamp card to be able to do all the activities on the spot: 

- get a tattoo

- get a personalised Tabasco tote bag designed by street artist Studio Bam Bam

- taste spicy popcorn

- do a mash tasting (that is the purest of the purest pepper)

--> 3 people from the American Tabasco-family came over, so we organized some interviews with Kanaal Z, De Tijd & De Morgen Magazine which resulted in beautiful large articles in those media.


We achieved a lot of PR, including a full-page article in Het Nieuwsblad, in all the major media & lots of coverage on social media
