The objective:
Remington wanted to throw a huge birthday bash because the brand turned 80 years ‘young’ in 2018. On the event they wanted to show and launch their (new) products that are available on the market targeting key media and influencers who can enjoy a total hairmake-over during the event.
The story:
As part of Spectrum Brands Holdings, and focused on innovation, Remington has been helping the world get ready for over 80 years. The Dutch brand Remington is a leading brand in haircare, trimming, shaving and feminine hair removal. The brand has been around for more than 80 years and has become the number one haircare brand in Europe.
Remington offers a wide range of innovative and friendly priced products to create your own style and was totally ready to celebrate their birthday with key beauty influencers and media.
How we did it:
We supported Remington by plugging the right story to the right media, influencers, and bloggers. The approach consists of a kick-off press release and an event in Havn Church, Antwerp.
We invited 180 guests (bloggers, influencers and press) to Remingtons birthday party, where 8 MUA’s did their hair according to 4 different hair styles we promoted together with Belgian model and first Belgian fashion blogger Emma Gelaude. The men that were invited could find their way to the men cave, where some barbers and hairdressers gave them a total make-over.
On the event, the guests could also discover the new Keratine Protect Collection. But an event is not an event without a photobooth, bits & bits, and of course a DJ.
