The Objective:

In 2018, Remington turned 80 years young and wanted to celebrate with a big birthday bash. The goal? To showcase and launch their latest products while giving key media and influencers a total hair makeover experience.

The Story:

As part of Spectrum Brands, Remington has been helping the world get ready for over 80 years. The brand is a European leader in haircare, trimming, shaving, and feminine hair removal, offering innovative, affordable products that let everyone create their own style. For this milestone birthday, Remington wanted to celebrate in style with key beauty influencers and media.

How We Did It:

We ensured the right story reached the right audience—media, influencers, and bloggers—through a kick-off press release and an exclusive event at Havn Church, Antwerp.

We invited 180 guests (bloggers, influencers, and press) to Remington’s birthday party, where 8 MUAs created hair according to 4 trending styles, guided by Belgian model and first Belgian fashion blogger Emma Gelaude. The men were pampered in the Men’s Cave, receiving full makeovers from professional barbers and hairdressers.

Guests also got to discover the new Keratine Protect Collection, while enjoying a photobooth, tasty bites, and music from a live DJ—making it a truly memorable birthday celebration for Remington.
